Except over half of our tax dollars already go to safety net programs ... so if we still can’t “take care” of everyone, maybe it’s time to start considering whether that’s a realistic or worthwhile goal.

Anonymized doesn’t mean aggregated, they can still tie the data to a specific individual even if they can’t identify that individual as you in particular. They know what you like to eat, what rides you enjoy, how many kids you have and what ages, and they know what email to send offers to or what phone number to send…

But this isn’t really a job, it’s a student teaching position they are taking on as part of their graduate curriculum. They are in school to become academics, and are working part-time as instructors... how is that different than any other clerkship or internship a grad student may hold, which are often unpaid?
