I've had the same conversation with the salesman on the last two that I bought.

All of the people making NASCAR/redneck comments on here have apparently never been to the 12 Hours of Sebring. It makes this shit look classy.
It's not that weird, but it's pretty awesome. Baywash Bikini Car Wash in Orlando.
I need a shift knob like that just for the fun of it.
You know what would reduce that rear overhang?
I think the interior looks great as well. The lack of gadgets is actually a selling point to me.
The STi is most certainly greater as a sum than in parts. If you look at any one item or spec, it's not that impressive these days. When you experience it as a whole package though, it's a great. The 6-speed is definitely a more robust unit that the new WRX 6-speed, so gear count really isn't a good comparison even…

Hell, even with the new STi, one of my buddies always gives me shit by calling it a Mazda3. It's all in fun though.
Geeze. Don't take it so personally. Yes, I've owned 3 WRXs now, the latest being a '14 STi. I bought it while I can still get a hatchback. I fully realize the resale potential of these cars.
Seems like a good deal until you realize that you bought the worst year of WRX. ever.
I like your car too. My wife has one of the other 200 orange ones out there.
I just bought a 2014 STi hatch last week. This is justifying my purchase even more. It's too bad, I can't help but think the new Impreza hatch would look good with the STi treatment and big box fenders.
