I still use the thumb method to get those damn kids off my lawn.

YES!! An AMC Ambassador with an AM radio with four pull-out-to-preset buttons! We were rolling in cash...

I thought the same thing. I remember taking road trips as a kid in cars that only had an AM radio with one speaker in the dash-no way you were going to hear that over the road and wind noise (no AC).

I’m in Wisconsin, any bolt touching any bushing on any car is stuck to the rubber. I use wd40 to get the bolt out if I haven’t messed up the bushing too much. I’m sure pb blaster or kro oil works too, but I’ve found wd40 to be the best.

His Tacoma is a 2003 that had the frame replaced before he bought it, not sure about the leaf springs. The recall was good for 12 years from the build date so he would probably be out of luck on it anyway.

When it’s too tight for a blade or wheel you have to grind off the head. If you can get on a nut with a nut splitter that is the easiest (but you can only fit a splitter on a stuck nut about 1/1000th of the time).

Ive used both and I prefer a sawzall for most jobs because it doesn’t shoot sparks everywhere-especially when working near fuel lines and gas tanks.

Oh thank god! I read the Hennessy and Corvette posts and thought someone had stolen Torch’s identity, but this just tells me he must have just had a small identity crisis when he wrote those.

This is by far the best comment!

First, we need to see if he got the questionable vehicle recommendation gene.

Sounds like it treated you well!

Ok, I thought that might be it, but I wasn’t sure.

You win!!

What did you tow the f150 with?

Richard Hed is in the Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame. I think he goes by Dick and I also think there is a Richard Hed Jr.

I’ve been pulled for an extra security check a few times and it doesn’t bother me at all. I was in line once and a guy had a handgun in his carry on. We were held up for about a half hour, I don’t know if he was on my flight but I was happy they stopped him from getting on any flight.

They confirmed it for me.

Ride the Lightning was their best by far and listening to “For Whom the Bell Tolls” made me a fan. I bought “Black” before I heard anything on it and was seriously unimpressed by it. I stopped buying their albums when they started doing ballads.

Years ago I dislocated my shoulder. I had people telling me what treatment and recovery I would go through based on their friend’s rotator cuff surgery, broken collarbone, torn biceps, etc. After trying and failing to explain a few times that it was a completely different injury, I gave up and would just smile and

West Bend area.
