For my sins I was planning on watching Willow series....eventually. It’s just that in this day and age of streaming there is a lot of content to get through.

It seems a shame that the media giants aren’t giving underperforming (by whatever metric they’re using) to slow burn/grow its audience.

May I recommend BBC’s comedy Not Going Out, which she was in for the first few series (or seasons if you’re American 😀)

A personal favourite is the ‘Pointless’ episode.

Sometimes I feel like Daisy from Spaced

I’d say the first five films are fairly grounded in reality, bar the odd ejector seat or safe dragging down the streets of Brazil.

Wasn’t the original plan for there to be a series of films set around the same high school, featuring different characters?

I haven’t got an issue with a more critical view, I did originally say....

Not sure anyone here is saying TL is above criticism.

As I understand it season 2 was written (and made??) before season 1 had aired, so it seems as though things panned as originally intended before any of us had laid eyes on Ted Lasso.

Exactly TL is a show about people learning to be better people. I’m not sure how an in depth negative/more downbeat/whatever version of Colin’s storyline fits the general theme of this show.

Just had it pointed out on Reddit that the choice of opponent for this week’s episode was pretty telling.

I feel about Ted Lasso the same way I feel about Gavin and Stacey, it’s a fun show I like who’s popularity to the general public/media doesn’t matter to me.

edit: just re-reading my comment and sorry if it seems like I’m slating you. Poorly word opening sentence that should start with “Yeah I agree...”

This isn’t that show, just like Scrubs was medical show that delved deeply into the in’s and outs of US health care system (as I saw it as a Brit).

I’ve come to realisation that “some” people get disappointed in shows/films not being what they expect them to be, based on how they’ve played things out in their head.

Episode V is great, but then you have to decide are you watching the prequel trilogy then Jedi or Jedi followed by the prequel trilogy?

This isn’t really ‘new things’ or ‘news’ as I believe it’s commonly called.

Anyhoo Star Wars watching order just got longer (for the better).

Judging by this review and some of the other comments below, I feel like I must be in the minority in liking this episode (and season 3 generally).

I want to know more about the punching spree. Was that guy ever caught?

I’m just basing my comparison to when the episode was likely written, as Pritti was the Home Office Minister around that time.

I genuinely thought he died years ago.
