I like Halloween H20, shame they had to undo all that with Resurrection.

FWIW I’d have put Wanda and Trading Places in top 2, though not sure which one is absolute best.

I agree with the point made about how regressive Helen Tasker’s role is in True Lies, before coming into her own. Despite that it’s a great film, if

I didn’t know about the transphobia stuff, but someone else mentions it elsewhere in the comments.

Not sure what I said to prompt that response.

I’d say her agents (or at least the interns who work for them) probably sorted that stuff out. Also I don’t think it cut through to the public consciousness as much as we think. It’ll be interesting to see how much this is mentioned during the upcoming press tour.

I think Sky had first run rights, then Channel 4 aired about a year later. Still amusing that Channel 4 actually thought 6pm was a suitable slot for it.

I guess this all but confirms Shuri is the new Black Panther? While I’m sure that’s bound to cause some issues due to Letitia Wright, I don’t think it’s that bad a thing. If and when we get variants running around in MCU, I’d assume we’ll get a new T’Challa to take over the mantle.

Loving the look of the trailer and

Buffy was ‘that show Entertainment Weekly raved about’, which when it finally made its way to the other side of The Pond I thought “it’s okay I guess”. It was a fun show and I mostly liked the characters, but I didn’t feel it was anything special.

The second Gremlins movie is good though.

Yeah a short overall runtime, with a more focused plot is a good thing. Falcon and the Winter Soldier would have landed much better with me if there was less flab.

Hot take: Let Seth McFarlane direct it. He’s a sci fi geek and has a great love for Star Trek, so why not?

On reflection I should have worded that better. I wasn’t having a go at you, more showing my disdain for that uber hack Rob Liefeld.

IMO he had one purple patch and never really lived up to his early New Mutants/X-Force days.

I know who ‘Mr I Can’t Draw Feet’ is, it’s beyond annoying that he’s getting a second wind for a character whose main development he had nothing to do with.

This is either a massive troll or we’re getting a final FINAL send off for Hugh’s Wolverine.

Counter Point: Blade Runner.

In Burton’s defence, the apes were all pretty good in that film. It’s just the whole story was a mass of nothingness.

I’m intrigued by what Tim Roth could have done with the role. Alas he read Tim Burton’s PotA script and still decided to make that instead.

Yeah I’d say the vast majority of the planet went at least 16 years without sex.

I saw him more as the type of guy who’d try to kill you with a facehugger.

My main disappointment with the joke version of a pretty joke team, is we will never get Dr Elliot Franklin version of Thunderball. While he isn’t the greatest villain in the 616, it was nice having a semi decent black supervillain who (when the story called for it) was a genius.

....or reverse casting and just go with Sam Elliott from the first Hulk film?
