The Abomination looks like the Thing, while the Thing looks like a moving brick wall.

Every good team needs a leader *wink wink*.

Winter Soldier is still my favourite MCU, with only the big battle in the sky falling into the familiar third act conclusion of Marvel films post ‘Avengers Assemble’ (we had to call it). At the time I wished Alexander Pierce had been revealed to be the Red Skull in disguise, but now I see that would have been too on

As mentioned in the article both American Sniper and The Passion of the Christ were mega huge hits in America, but modest-to-good box office around the rest of the world.

I mean sure he did that in his first ever appearance, but that doesn’t mean he can actually shot Superman.

Comic book Mystique was meant to have been the father of Nightcrawler, with Destiny as his birth mother via the shapeshifting scenario you mention. However the Marvel of that time wouldn’t allow Chris Claremont to write that story. Claremont still intended Mystique to be a lesbian, so I guess it depends on what story

The Ark is a hot new club, where all the trendy rich people hang out. Come join us.......if you have a ticket.”

Spence and Arthur were a great double act. I also liked how much Arthur didn’t like Spence’s mum, which was obviously a meta joke on those two being married in real life.

The first one is fine and just about a three out of five star film (which Empire magazine always says IS a recommendation).

My only gripe with this is that traditionally we never see Snake Eye’s face, changing that for this film seems wrong. It’s kind of like the Judge Dredd thing with Sylvester Stallone, though there were lots of issues with that film.

The King of Queens may have had the schlubby husband/hot wife, but anyone who thinks it was a show about an awful husband and beleaguered wife clearly never saw it (which...lucky you). They were both awful people, and she gave every bit as good as she got.

I’ll concede I could be reading Mackie’s comments incorrectly, but I don’t think he’s upset with this. I think the point he’s (clumsily) trying to make is that depictions of close/strong/whatever male friendships are just gay romances.

Poorly phrased is the best description that covers that.

Cash rules everything around me.”

Bummer for Dan Castellaneta as all of his already completed vocal work was scrapped.

With good reason, that’s a killer song.

Yeah I’ve been wanting to see Enchantress in MCU for ages. Weirdly we got her sister in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but no mention of Amora.

They also spelt colour wrong.

In other news, all future Disney Plus shows will be released on Wednesdays instead of the previously traditional Fridays.

As long as Eli Bradley is leading the team, I don’t care who else is there. If he’s front and centre in MCU version of the team, it might force Marvel Comics to return him to prominence.
