Speaking as someone who hasn’t yet seen of the three films, I was under the impression that Riz Ahmed had the best performance of the year. I think I’d seen a few “in any other year he’d win for Sound of Metal”.

I think this could have done with 2 extra episodes. The Flag Smasher felt very underdeveloped to me, an episode’s worth of time (spread out over 7/8 episodes) would have made them stand out more to me.
