.....unless they’re playing Joker in a Batman movie.

Me too.....now.

Yeah, stick that stupid Oscar win for Gandhi up your arse....as we say in UK.

The most confusing/annoying issue I have with Jurassic Park is whether Dennis Nedry is supposed to be Hammond’s son or not.

Spielberg used his influence on BBFC and stopped the film from getting a 12 rating in UK. Instead we got some extra blurb about it not being suitable for children under 8, but the film was still given a PG rating.

There’s no way on Earth Dickie Attenborough could ever have been that heartless (leaving aside Brighton Rock and 10 Rillington Place).

I remember the anticipation of getting to seeing real live (okay fake) dinosaurs on the big screen was huge. I think I saw the film twice in five days at Catford cinema (back when it still existed) and loved even more second time around.

The fact that the CGI for Jurassic Park still holds up 27 years later is amazing. When you see some of the work on other more recent blockbusters, it’s quite stark how good a good Spielberg’s team on this.

I wish Sony would stop trying to milk Spider-Man’s supporting characters and/or villains for solo movies. Those characters work best as antagonists or allies for Peter Parker (seriously a Madame Web solo film!!!).

Yeah Dead Calm would be the film that I would say introduced her to the wider world. Though her breakout role for me is the tv mini series Bangkok Hilton, which I highly recommend.

Thanks I’ll check it out.

I watched all 3 of the episodes that dropped last week on Apple+ and I have to say I like this show. Jason Sudeikis is brilliant as Ted Lasso, especially considering the character is born from those skits about NBC’s coverage of Premier League football (sorry dunno what soccer is).

I mean Hulk gets mad changing a tyre, so being mad at the rain is pretty consistent.

Why hasn’t she been on Grace and Frankie yet?

Yes, I used to repeat view a lot of films during mid-late 90's. Then stopped early 2000's when I went full in with buying DVDs of the films I saw at cinema that I liked. My movie collection rivals Netflix, I have so many ‘okay’ films it’s ridiculous.

For an actor known for films about dualities, it’s somehow fitting that Keeping The Faith and Motherless Brooklyn remain Norton’s only directorial efforts to date.

You’re thinking of that song by the Goop lady.

Glen : I’d never done a crazy thing in my life before that night. Why is it that if a man kills another man in battle, it’s called heroic, yet if he kills a man in the heat of passion, it’s called murder?

It’s also the British way.

No Wu Tang is for the children.
