I’d probably put Rainbow in third of my favourite Mariah albums, though sometimes I find myself liking Music Box a lot (her sort of breakthrough album in UK).

Truth be told her remixes of her singles are where she was strongest. Fantasy, Always Be My Baby, Honey [Bad Boy remix], Loverboy, Heartbreaker and David

I counter that by saying her best album is Butterfly, closely followed by The Emancipation of Mimi. The latter is a great comeback after the fallout of Glitter flopping and dealing with being considered a joke.

Ah but Ricky Gervais is ironically poking fun at racists, so that gets him a free pass......I think.

Why was that guy reporting from London about an Australian show?

While you’re all here can I recommend Dead Presidents from the Hughes Brothers, which sort of covers the same thing (well black Vietnam soldiers and their post war treatment).

“I bet you didn’t see that coming”

This will probably come off wrong, but would it have been such a bad thing for Elmer to keep his gun?

He’s a dumb hunter who continually gets his comeuppance, he’s hardly someone you look to copy.

The only storyline that’s interested me is Townsend and Kurt’s. Which is bizarre that I’m expected to care about a comical rascist and his budding love affair with an actual card carrying Nazi (nice of Kurt to spell that out fully in episode 6).

Do you mean Fox (now Disney) sinking millions into a Trank cut of FF?

Nostradamus would be pleased.

When he trimmed down for Here Comes The Boom, you could make a case for saying he was “hulking” in that.

That does seem like a missed opportunity by the casting department. Kevin still gets to play a straight role, but Joel is more believable in the menacing bad guy role.

I don’t know if you guys are old enough to remember Valerie suddenly becoming The Hogan Family after Valerie Harper quit after first season (I think due to a salary dispute).

I know this will never happen, but I really wanted someone to cut Armageddon and Deep Impact together.

You can have Tea Leoni’s story about discovering the government’s plan deal with an incoming asteroid, while mixing in the goofiness of hiring Bruce Willis’s crew.

Search for some of the old YouTube WWTBAM clips from Tarrant’s days.

He was very very pantomime 😃

This aired over here a month ago and was a big hit for ITV during the start of our lockdown. Michael Sheen’s impression of Chris Tarrant is so spot on, it’s slightly a shame folks outside UK will properly appreciate it.

Method acting 101.

I’d make a case for saying that Armageddon is the most memorable out of the (implied) six films you mention. Though I get that isn’t the point you’re making with regards to A Bug’s Life.
