Yeah it’s not like MCU hasn’t deviated from source material (including in this film).

Didn’t Marvel try to get Jon Hamm or Joaquin Phoenix for the role?

Off topic, well not really...

I’d also add the end battle in which a major city in un-destroyed, in what must be a meta comment on how a lot of post-Avengers MCU films handled their third acts.

I think you might have just stumbled across the post credits sting.

If you have the time I’d recommend watching all of them bar Tokyo Drift (the third one)

After Fast Five managed to make over $700m worldwide despite the final trailer revealing every single stunt (including the jeep out of the plane, on the world’s longest runway), I realised these brilliant films are immune to the standard marketing rules.

That should say “come back” obviously.

I want Gisele to come (somehow). Gal looked like she was having fun playing that role.

I’m not sure it was just one drug.

Existential family drama slash male bonding movie.

I’m gonna go with yes to all of these questions, even the ones that don’t have yes or no answers.

I think in terms of the two characters both being gods it fits.

GrumpySatan on Reddit posted this as a comparison of how MCU would have looked if they had followed DCEU’s route to Justice League. It’s great way of summing up how rushed things were.

He will always be Cowboy to me, because Innerspace rocks!

Not defend BvS too much, but the Ultimate Edition version of the film at least makes it a bit more plausible for why Bats and Supes fight each other.

Part of me wonders if Marvel could have made Civil War be two ninety-minute films?

I loved the fact that the end battle boiled down to a fallout between two friends.

Those two lines lend weight to those that say Tony has had the greatest growth the course of MCU.
