Fair point.

Pretty much this. Civil War version of New Warriors is effectively year 0 for non-fans and will always be an albatross around the group's status in 616.

I'm glad Method Man is in the mix.

I thought the airport fight sequences were good, but that could just be me. Bats and Supes fight lacked logical sense for me, which made it hard for me to enjoy it.

Millar sucks big time for making New Warriors the fall guys for the start of Civil War crossover.

I hate the reality tv version of the group, because it makes them a bunch of idiots. Also for story purposes millionaire (billionaire) Dwayne Taylor loses all of his money so agrees to do this to fund the team.

I never understand the blandness criticism that MCU films get over DCEU. With the exception of Iron Man 2, Thor: The Dark World and maybe Avengers: Age of Ultron the Marvel films stand out in their own ways.

Weirdly my indifference/bordering on dislike of Suicide Squad made me like Batman vs Superman a lot more.

My issue with MOS and BvS is that Snyder didn't appear to understand what Superman stands for. This incarnation of Supes is humourless bordering on hateful (okay that's an extreme take).

They're all brilliant in that movie, even the supporting characters.

I want a New Warriors tv show or film, I don't particularly want a comedy version of them.

Wham bam, I am a man.
Job or no job you can't tell me what to do!
Do you enjoy what you do?
If not, then stop.
Don't stay there and rot.

John Barrowman was.

Michael Jai White should have been Rhodey, though as Steven Soderbergh says "if you can get Don Cheadle in your movie, get Don Cheadle in your movie".

I have no idea, as I avoided it like the plague.

No he doesn't.

Go on….

As long as he doesn't make me watch Sucker Punch then I'm easy.

Are you sure?

Wow so 'Seduction of the Innocent' was right all along?
