I suppose it might be a matter of perspective. If and when the team complete their mission, they'll be returned to the point in 2016 when they left. Laurel is still alive then, so technically Sara could try to prevent it.

Season 2 of LoT should just be Killer, Klepto and Pyro. That would be so much more fun than what we've had this year (and I actually like Ray, Jax and Martin)

We have 2 episodes left for this show to turn things around.
