The mutant cure stuff is actually fairly decent. The Phoenix stuff is hot garbage.

The star was just for your username. . .

This. Kurtz always spun that he left JEDI because of his disappointment in Lucas’s story changes, but Lucas has always maintained he wanted Kurtz gone because as Producer he was unwilling or incapable of controlling Kershner’s budget overages on EMPIRE. I won’t argue that all the money isn’t on the screen in EMPIRE or

I did and do prefer Pulaski to Crusher. Pulaski started off rocky (much like the show), but she had more of a personality by the end of her season that Crusher showed over the whole run. Her Klingon tea ceremony bit alone is better material than Crusher ever got, IMO.

You may want to fix:the RAINBOW SIX novel - the first one at least - predated the games. It’s an original, not a novelization.

I haven’t seen her in much, but she was shockingly good with the Sorkinese on THE NEWSROOM. Better than almost anyone else on the show not named Jeff Daniels or Thomas Sadowski, IMO.

Ennis’s neighbors didn’t work for me in the film. In WELCOME BACK FRANK, the substitute family had some resonance because this was the closest Frank let himself get to people after 20+ years of comics. In the film, it’s 20+ minutes after the slaughter of his family. Also, in no universe is Rebecca Romjin Plain Jane.

The David Milch-Tim Olyphant-Jay Mohr-Michael Rappaport episode is a stone classic. I can watch that over and over.

That was a fantastic game, and the “feel” of web-swinging was really remarkable. Learning how to modify your speed and arc was a lot of fun.

I might even like the live version below a bit more. I love how Jackson stifles his crackup at one point. . .

Beatles “Rock & Roll Music”

I saw this at a pre-release screening in NYC back when I was in film school. Townsend and the cast surprised the audience by running up on stage afterwards to many cheers, but there was no Q&A.

Ross is much like J. Jonah Jameson - sometimes played as a complete tool, sometimes shown to have some principles underneath. In that vein, Elliot is perfect for the principled General Ross, and Hurt is better for the hypocritical, buffoonish “Thunderbolt.”

“Mike’s guy” not to the exclusion of working for Gus - obviously - but more that Victor seemed, to me, like a guy that Mike had hired himself. Just a feeling. The vibe I got when Mike and Victor were in scenes didn’t give me the impression that Victor was already working for Gus and Mike was installed over him - they

I feel like I saw “Juan Borsa” in prior reviews as well - AMC and IMDB both have him as “Bolsa,” for what it’s worth. . .

I mostly love the Meth Incorporated stuff. But I’m not loving how much of the team is in place pre-Mike. We’re seeing that Victor and Tyrus already work for Fring (whereas they seemed very much like Mike’s guys on BREAKING BAD), and their scheme to protect Nacho is pretty damn methodical and clever - almost

I’ve enjoyed some of the Carpool Karaoke and found others a waste of time. But by god the Tony Awards version puts a smile on even my non-Broadway Musical-loving face:

DEATH OF SUPERMAN was crap. FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND and REIGN OF THE SUPERMEN were pretty decent, IMO.

As much as I love the Raimi SPIDER films, I find them difficult to jump into if I catch one while flipping channels. Everything is SO heightened and emo that it’s off-putting without being eased in from the start.

The more naturalistic MCU films, on the other hand, are an easy drop-in for 20 minutes on FX. . .
