Scorsese’s wife has battled Parkinson’s for a decade or two now, I believe. Could easily explain an on-site nurse.

Since none of the comments seem to be much about the test itself, hot take coming up:
MIRACLE WORKERS, too, I believe.
As mentioned above, Stone offered a proper apology and clarification:
Burton’s film is not great, maybe not even good. But Giamatti, Helena Bonham Carter, and Tim Roth all gave excellent performances, and the ape makeup was extraordinary (and possibly the last of it’s kind - the CG apes of the recent trilogy are likewise quite good, but another kettle of fi- er, barrel of monkeys entirel…
Yeah, I didn’t have much of an opinion on Taylor Swift before the Tina Fey “incident” - other than that her songs were catchy - but her response to that very mild joke just demonstrated how thin-skinned and humorless a person she would seem to be.
Also, Taylor’s no kind of auteur. He’s not a writer/director like Watiti, Coogler, and many others Marvel drafted. He’s just a better-than-average working TV director (like the Russos) who got a shot at the big time and it didn’t work out, so he got “sent back to the minors.” (see also: Mimi Leder, Tommy Schlamme.)
Dairy Queens are not big in NYC. Only three in the five boroughs, and none of those in Manhattan, Queens, or Brooklyn:
I inferred or recollected - obviously possibly incorrectly - that the Moondogs* worked on this track during ANTHOLOGY but put it aside because Lennon’s vocal track couldn’t be separated well enough from the guitar/piano in the source tape at that time. So presumably there are George guitar bits available from those…
LOST BOYS, for heaven’s sake! Vampires to Bat-vigilantes is not a huge leap - and certainly seemingly less than one than from Pee-Wee Herman. . .
Wellactually rmlohner might be right. The WGA strike would have come at the end of TNG Season One, because Season Two start was delayed a bit AND the producers hauled out the unused PHASE II script “The Child” to help them get back on schedule.
I don’t remember hearing about any WGA issues on S1's “The Neutral Zone,”…
Sarah Sherman’s bit was my favorite part of the show and was surprised it went un-commented-upon. And despite having a lot of similarity with the prior “Sarah tortures Jost” bits, her doing it in character was different enough I didn’t mind.
Not only that, but STEELE had been cancelled and Brosnan was theoretically free to do Bond. But the Bond folks’ interest in him lent him some “heat,” so the network un-cancelled STEELE and he was compelled to do another season before it was cancelled, again.
That he got to do several Bonds years later is a nice happy…
I didn’t say anything about lightening up on her. I think Lily’s anti-vax statements are dunderheaded and irresponsible. But I also don’t think her stance needs to be rebroadcast and criticized anew in *every* news article that mentions her name from now until the end of time. The volume and vitriol in the comments…
And me, at the time, thought Whittaker’s death was the “twist,” so I relaxed from that point on and then was properly surprised by the Dil reveal. (Chalk up missing the now-obvious breadcrumbs to me having less life experience at that point, plus seeing the relationship through a MONA LISA lens, thinking Jordan had a…
God forbid we talk about anything but her vaccine stance, but any speculation on which X-part she was under consideration for? The only thing I can think of offhand is the Lynn Collins role in WOLVERINE ORIGINS. . .
I will die on the hill of WYATT EARP being far superior to TOMBSTONE.
I haven’t read much of the THUNDERBOLTS title, but Ross wasn’t featured at all in the ones I read.
But if it’s simply a matter of the team being his namesake(s), wouldn’t General Talbot naming the team in tribute to his recently-departed mentor (with a tearful glance at a nearby portrait of William Hurt) work just as…
Yeah, I was fine with them recasting Rhodey because there were more stories to tell (and wish they had recast T’Challa with Yahyab Abdul Mateen II, while we’re at it). But Ross isn’t *that* critical a character - are you really telling me the roles in CA4 and THUNDERBOLTS couldn’t have been Ctrl-Alt-Replaced with…
I hadn’t realized it was that rigid a system these days - my memory is folks in prior casts were featured for maybe a year and change and then got promoted if they clicked with the audience.
