Right. The hand-to-hand fights in the first Craig movies basically make you think you’re watching The Bond Identity.

Just celebrating this news by playing this on loop:
SHOTS!!
Ambien.
He’s probably not roasting his sprouts. Changed everything for me.
If anything, a reimagined Octopussy can be a great supporting character in the next season of the show.
The Catholic Church doesn’t make mistakes. ... Alright, mistakes were made.
Re. Olivia, looks like it’s next week from the Ep. 6 preview.
Hell, he’s not even dog-whistling at this point. He’s shouting it in front of anyone who’s listening. Absolute piece of shit.
There’s an idea. Spent time in NE in the first movie, so he adopts a Boston accent (maybe even Dunkin’ gets in some product placement with his metaphors). Third movie he’s going over-the-top Greek, shifts to comparing cases to Spanakopita.
It would’ve been nice to get a two-part premiere here, just to get a better idea of what the show will look like week-to-week. This was a fun episode and has me interested in more, but it felt like all prologue.
Bravo, Cap’n.
True, the biggest issue there is you have 16-year-olds driving massive trucks and haven’t the slightest clue how to handle it.
Oh you’re not exaggerating that much. And you’re leaving out 6-way intersections, higher-than-average number of one-way roads, people taking the infamous “Pittsburgh left” and random tire-popping potholes.
I swear I once made it from Miami to Orlando in 2 hours, not because I wanted to but because if I didn’t, I was going to be annihilated in a rental Elantra. Can’t speak to California, but Florida, Texas, they drive differently down there. I’m in Pittsburgh where it’s a ton of hills and curves, but you still see at…
Right, “Touch my sister again and I’ll kill you.” Great delivery, punctuates the scene really well.
I love this movie, especially Caan in this role, just watched it last month. But this scene and, even more so, the earlier street fight/beating are so damn fake. It’s more of a problem with the era of filmmaking, I guess, but they unintentionally make me laugh.
Stop trying to bully them into doing things.
Can’t wait for them to announce it on Aug. 17 and have him take credit.
Guardians of the Galaxy also had a poor first showing (but looked better than SF here) and ended up being great. Unfortunately, I lean toward your last sentence being the most likely situation here. Hope to be wrong. Would be nice to have a great new 3D Sonic.
