Devastating is exactly right. I just realized it's been almost three years since, but I still really really miss my lil fuzzcat.

What makes it worse is I acted very stupidly when my cat ran out. I freaked out and definitely made it worse. If I hadn't we probably could have gotten her back inside, but as it happened she ran up our hill into the wild empty lot and we never saw her again. She was microchipped, and had a collar and nametag.

Yeah, I'm a bit scarred by my cat running out before. My wife and I really loved her but it was a bad time for us to have her, and we realized that too late. One cat would probably be good, and I think it should be a small cat, given our living arrangement.

I watched Final Destination 3 last night. Great, trashy fun. I'm sure I laugh as much or more at that movie as at many intentional comedies.
