My neighbor’s cat comes over and we give her turkey or chicken (she loves it), not sure if her owner’s vegan or she’s just a cute little beggar.

Jeez, poor cat. Unlike dogs which are more omnivouoous, they are obligate carnivores and need meat (or meat based food) in their diet.
