Wait, McCain made good points AND had a normal hair day? My mind is blown.

It should be listed in psychology textbooks as a perfect example of “projection”.

Oh yeah. “But he’s on our siiide!”

That’s what I could never understand about “white-nationalists”. Even if they got their “white homeland”, they’d still find reasons to hate each other and split off into tribal factions.

This country is a fractal expression of jumping the shark at this point.

I had so many entitled students in my class... “My parents paid a lot of money for me to go here!”, etc.

Right? This is “I’ll just change the wording slightly and hope teacher doesn’t notice” levels of laziness.

I really hope it doesn’t come to that, but they sure are pushing him hard.

For republicans... For democrats all you have to do is yell awkwardly.

Ah, but without Limp Bizkit we might never have had Big Dumb Face.

I’ve been thinking and saying this about trump for a while now. They key word is “blasphemy”. Everything about trump is blasphemous. Particularly is you take a looser definition of the term as an affront to truth. But even by strict christian interpretation, he’s blasphemous to the extreme. And all these evangelical

Everyone takes a different amount of time to recover from something like that. One of the reasons I haven’t completely is because I developed fibromyalgia from all the stress, so I have this ongoing physical reminder of what I went through.

Absolutely. I’ve seen moderates/centrists/whatever on Splinter change course over the past few weeks and agreeing with Elizabeth Warren’s stance, for fuck’s sake. This fence-sitting bullshit is infuriating.

It was such a weird time back when acid-heads were making children’s shows.

So you’re just gonna ignore the whole “religious beliefs are subjective and nebulous” part? Not to mention that they aren’t based in science, which is what medical practice requires. So yeah, I kinda do require that a medical practicioner stick to science-based treatments. That’s common-fucking-sense. If you have

I’m not conflating procedure with person. What if you had a doctor whose religious beliefs included that drugs are bad (or even certain drugs are bad). They could refuse to prescribe you medications that you need based upon this “religious exemption”.

I know I shouldn’t bring you out of the grays because you have a habit of arguing in bad faith, but I really have no idea what the fuck your first point is. If you’re a medical provider, you should provide medical services. Giving someone a religious exemption for not providing one kind of service means they could
