"and your having sex"

Yeah, any sort of idea that her rape was justified is insane. I definitely was shocked too (that is not at all what I'm talking about, I want to make that clear)!

I sat next to Edward Furlong at the La Brea tar pits right around the time Terminator 2 came out. I was only 7 so I did not talk to him, but remember thinking he was oh so dreamy.

This totally broke me up. Kids having to deal with something that they should never have to with smiles and hope meanwhile I'm all pissy because the person in front of me was driving too slow. Great reminder to take a step back and don't sweat the small stuff.

I work in pediatrics. There are days of hell but there is a bit more informality compared to adult settings. You can be a goof and nobody thinks much of it. Kids and young adults will freak you out bad on how resilient they are. I really enjoyed this, kudos to the staff for showing off the patients. They were all cute

The combination of hopefulness, sadness, and being confronted with my own delusion about the extent to which my job "makes a difference," having me snotting on my keyboard. These people are champs.

I can't watch another until I get home so I can just sob uncontrollably.

Can I just say NURSES ARE THE FREAKIN BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This leukemia survivor is shedding a few manly tears.

This trend. First with the Sara Bareilles "Brave" thing and all the beautiful awkwardness of the nurses and such in MN and now

I think we use the word hero way too often, but I'm willing to bust it out for all of those women (and a couple of men) who go to work every day and help these kids fight, all the while trying to make sure they get some sort of childhood inside the hospital.

I simply cannot handle this. I am reverse crying at my desk and I'm pretty sure my coworkers think I'm having some kind of attack. I'm going to hide under my desk.

Fiona's words give her away. I'm paraphrasing but she did say something akin to, "If even 10 things in 100 I read about you were accurate...". How's that for a low bar!?

It is just nice to know that Emma Roberts' character is just as terrible as she is. I just can't get over her domestic violence issue, and so her character makes me feel in some way vindicated.

She's ready to trade LaLaurie for that eternal youth secret, that's for sure. This plot is definitely racy (had to say it) but I don't think Fiona is as racist as it might come off right now. She's bitchy to Laveau because they're (supposedly) in these rival covens that may have been created by slavery, but I get the

I think you can be racist and still be disgusted at a person who spent a good portion of their time torturing slaves.

Right. She made it clear to LaLaurie that she thought she did terrible and evil things (and not in a cool witchy way). But that doesn't mean she's not racist. Just less racist. Which, when you're talking about LaLaurie, being "less racist" doesn't mean much.

She's not racist in the slave-owning sense. She is racist in the privileged 'I Can Just Walk In Here & Demand Some Eternal Youth While Making Fun of Your Salon, Bitch' sense.

I think Marie Laveau owning the hair salon might be more of a cover operation. My knowledge of the religion is sparse at best but in Voodoo having a persons hair allows you to cast spells on them. Having a hair salon is a great way to gain power over a lot of people. Also, I think after getting her hair done Fiona

I keep expecting Kathy Bates to scream "WHERE IS YOUR SCENERY?! I NEED MORE OF IT TO CHEW!"
