The thing about the John Wick films is that they’re basically the action version of classic musicals like Singin’ in the Rain or an American in Paris - there’s a plot and there’s dialog, and they’re good and even great at times, but really they’re just an excuse to string together a series of thrilling kinetic

He and Diesel also worked together on Riddick and are apparently good friends in real life, so perhaps Diesel knows not to take it personally

While this sequel sounds dire, I don’t really understand the need to shit upon the original. It was a decent, if not spectacular, movie that millions of people remember fondly. That’s the point of this cash-grab.

I came to this show in the second season and found it extremely entertaining and at no loss for understanding since the plot was straightforward even if individual episodes were not.
