It’s probably because the image was pulled from Facebook. Facebook uses insanely high compression on it’s JPGs. It’s utterly horrible. I’ll post photos across social media and it always looks the absolute WORST on Facebook. The Facebook compression makes some images borderline unusable like this one.

I like that one too. I think the use of larger 20 year generations might’ve been more applicable in early parts of the 20th century, but with the rise of technology as a dominant force in our culture, we’ve gotten much greater fractioning of generations.
