I saw the Accord from a few years back...

Just brings back memories of running the 800 in college. It’s just a phenomenally brutal race. The length and speed just fight each other and tear at your muscles.

The GE Reveals per their website are 2700k w/ a CRI of 90. Which is very good. These are similar but there's no rating on the CRI so the quality maybe not so great. Also not dimmable.

From personal experience, you really don't need to "stock up" on LEDs as they have an insanely long lifespan. I learned this the hardway. Now I have several boxes sitting in a closet because I forgot that they really actually last 10+ years, after which you should probably just get something better... whoops.

Hm... I prefer 2700k-3000k over 3500, it just is more incandescent like.

Agree w/ the other comments, the flavor and body extracted from french press and aero are completely different. Saying that they’re the same is like saying an IPA tastes the same as a stout.

The inverse relationship of these in order to balance the amount of light or amount or needed light is the one thing that’s ignored. They’re all linearly arranged in parallel, when really a photographer is choosing what the inverse relationship between the two and where to situate the exposure on the spectrum.

FWIW the All-Clad is just the steel line and not the copper core line. There's a big difference.

I actually suspect it won’t be. Telescoping arms that are timed to fire precisely to grab a rocket that’s 224 ft tall don’t sound like they’d be really inexpensive... you know? It’s one thing to make a robotic arms do a repetitive task, and another to make it extremely fast and accurate over extremely large distances

Or they can just continue to fine tune the software until they can get it right w/o extra mechanical help/expense....

Wow. Had no idea that the rocket came in so hot. Very impressive even though they weren’t entirely successful. You see a rocket firing to the right of the frame in the vine, I wonder if they intentionally sweep the tail wide like that just before touchdown? Or if it’s just a byproduct of adjustments...

Please note that cilantro is really hard to grow throughout the summer. It has two stages where it goes from the leaves to a flowery thing with crap flavor for leaves. This happens when it warms up and is really frustrating as it becomes useless for most of the summer. The only way to prevent this is to continually

I have mixed feelings about Snowden. I do think that it was important to expose some of this information but also, if he were to have done it right, he would’ve thrown himself at the mercy of the court and the American people. By fleeing he turned the attention more to HIM than the information leaked. If he had stayed

I think you’re both right and wrong. As I’m getting through my 30s in NYC I’m more and more inclined to get a car. The weird part is that I want a car to get me OUT of the city. I don’t ever intend on using the car in the city that much. If I’m picking up something heavy or have a lot of stuff it’s just easier to get

The 5 boroughs are VERY large and encompass over 8 million people. There are a lot of rich people that "live" in NY that don't really live here all the time and there are a LOT of people who do not make much at all. Even by the strictest measure of "city" (this doesn't include the metro area). Whereas for example SF

This kid too... don’t forget about this kid. Now, Draper, imma let you finish, but this is one of the greatest sports clips of ALL TIME

The thing is differentiation between technical skill and artistic skill. Art, especially painting, was largely in pursuit of capturing as true of an “image” as possible initially and by the 19th century people had gotten pretty good with paint in doing so. The rise of photography coincided with this and ultimately
