Watching Queer Eye is always a boost to my mental health. Whenever I’ve been binging it, I hear him in my head as I’m getting ready, chearing me on, and it gives me such a lift.

Whenever I see him I just wanna give him a big hug and jump up and down together as long as our legs will give us. I love his authenticity, his smarts, his joy, his ‘don’t-give-a-f*ck’, and just about everything about him (maybe a lil’ less beard, but that’s a matter of taste). I’d date him in a heartbeat.

Your response seems to buy into a lot of stigmatization. It sucks that he would ever feel the need to hide his status, any more than someone should be ashamed to reveal they have diabetes. He is a hero for balancing being a real inspiration and a human with such dignity. The collective love we have for him makes me believe there is still good in the world. Not even kidding.

i absolutely adore him.everything about him. however, being from the midwest where most of the fab 5 makeovers seem to take place, im pretty sure there are some former people who were on that show who will feel uneasy about this information. Kudos to him for being so vulnerable and true.

It sucks that he felt the need to have to come out with this. I understand why he decided to do so, but none of us should have to feel that weight. Trump has so many of us in the LGBTQ (and every other marginalized community) in a stranglehold that we can't sit quietly and hope for the best.
