I don’t get the shade thrown at Jameela Jamil here. Sure she’s had some missteps but she responds quickly and has shown willingness to learn. She is far more progressive in thinking and intersectional than your average pussy hat wearing white woman.

I honestly don’t get cynical people. What’s the point? That if we don’t get 100% of what we want, it’s not worth it to try for anything? That failure is inevitable, so fuck it? Is it a defense mechanism, to protect yourself from getting your hopes up?

I’m basing this on what’s written in the article, which seems to be a defeatist position that no politician can ever achieve 100% of what they talk about on the campaign trail so why believe anything or support them?

If only they could of gotten Fred Savage and Dean Cain to be on DWTS so they could fight over room sizes.

I found myself begrudgingly moved by all of this, as cynical as moments like these are, and as much as I’m generally disinclined to believe a word that’s said on the campaign trail.
