I just wanted to say that this is one of the most true things I’ve read. Thank you for putting this as clearly as concisely as you did.

Has your perception of any work of fiction changed after your life circumstances have?

No comment. Just Honeysuckle Blue.

These were Christmas gifts last year for my sons from the grandparents. Something was off, but the kids loved them anyway.

I always found the Open Channel prompts to be my favorite. Let go, write something, and put it out there. In the old days that was what finally garnered a coveted gold star for me. Just a great, welcoming part of the community.

I enjoyed them, Phil Noto did essentially eeeeeeverything on that book and it was awesome. Of particular note is the issue that features Bucky and another that features X-23.

Bobby. She dated Iceman for a while between Phoenix Pete and Space Pete.

So many false endings to this episode. Is there a term for a table setting season finale?

The previous leadership wasn’t so easy to remove. It was Bolt-on.

Are there nits to pick? Yes.

Cleganebowl in the trial by combat that many expected this season, then. I think, like you, it has to happen at some point, but I should’ve narrowed down my hype-slaying.

I think this was a very dissatisfying episode. Just about the only thing I’m hoping for is that Qyburn’s rumor is about Wildfire and Cersei goes mental.

Sorry, that was unclear phrasing on my part. I meant Beric’s resurrection. Cat was only referenced in conversations between Brienne/Blackfish, and Jaime/Edmure. I’m not a truther, just noting little bits.

That was my first thought, especially when Thoros and Beric showed up. However, the flip side of that is that they not only show up, but the resurrection is referenced several times, as well as Cat Stark and her ferocity. Plus, Brienne and Pod are in a convenient location.

Pretty sure Cersei is going the Mad King route. Tommen’s likely in the crossfire, as well as High Sparrow, Marge, and others.

9 and 10 better blow the top off.

By all means keep writing! I think it’s solid that you’re engaging with the material like this and I usually do enjoy reading it.

This is brutal dude. I’m all for having your own thoughts and reactions, but why not stop after the first paragraph where you link to your own comment on your own kinja page? Or, as has been suggested, take it to the o-deck? When your original comment is longer, and less in-depth than the article you are commenting

Slowly is the word. This episode felt glacial. Still good, but left me feeling kind of meh. Arya should’ve been a little more careful, but she’s still a teenager so <shrug>.

Whenever I’m depressed there are a few things I like to listen to, or read, or watch. Comic wise, it’s the certain parts of All-Star Superman, and two selections from Sinomson’s Thor.
