No...The Xbox X isnt a new generation, more powerful yes, but Console generations are tied to many many things. CPU Architecture and tick/tock cycles to say the least. If Sony Cuts a deal with Nvidia/AMD/Intel for first crack at the new TICKs, the Xbox X is just a on a late tock cycle.
