“In this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty” which is why I pulled a gun on an innocent man until he proved he wasn’t guilty. Flawless victory.

But also if Elon reopens the SC Department, who’s gonna go work for them? He just let go people who A. have extensive knowledge of their systems, and B. probably hold a grudge. No amount of NDAs is gonna stop them from sharing said secrets to competitors. If I was Mercedes or BMW, I would be contacting those folks…
In this video, Sandy Munro, an openly huge supporter, passive friend, and investor in Musk’s ventures (we’ll get into that later), tries to make the argument that firing a 500+ person team due to a management disagreement on the crown jewel of Tesla that is its charging services division, makes sense and that not only…
“I got taken advantage of!”
Watched Silo - LOVE IT
It turned out we miraculously timed the buying of our current house, and got a 30 year loan at 3.05%. Have two cars fully paid off and the idea of paying contemporary car loan prices is an almost impossible thing to imagine. I occasionally look into new cars. My wife’s 2013 Rogue is falling apart and will need to be…
I completely agree. My goal was sub 500. Smartly/Luckily we refi’d in 2020 at 2.875%, so our Mortgage is sub 1900, I pay prop tax out of pocket(typically covered by our Tax return...yay!) So adding a 500 or below car payment (wife drives a 06 Acura) to our HH was easy. I can not fathom spending what these people do on…
“Beacon 23’s attempts to be both a distinctly episodic offering as well as a serialized narrative centered on Halan (whose military past yet again finds its way into his present situation) are only intermittently successful.”
Depressingly, I’d say a $470 car payment is the new new $300 car payment.
Here I was Stressing over a $470 Tesla payment, like chump.
Yeah, my partner and I have separate finances (though we both pay in to a combined account for normal house expenses, etc), but I certainly talked through my current automotive purchase with them and ensured they were happy with it (and it’s only ~280 a month).
While I share your ‘always be skeptical of anything on Tiktok’ mentality, I know way too many people who project a lifestyle they absolutely cannot afford. Friend of mine drives his Ram 2500 that he pays $1300 a month for to his office job just because he wanted a truck. Doesn’t do anything with it. They struggle…
“No one knows what it means, but it’s provocative.”
I’m bummed, but Season Two functions as a perfectly good ending, so I’m grateful for what we got.
My dad passed away in 1996. I still have an old bottle of Brute Cologne that was his. I occasionally open it and sniff it just to remember him.
The officer served (2) tours overseas. Seeing the lasting affects a tour in Afghanistan has had on a relative, I believe this officer has undiagnosed PTSD which impacted his reaction here.
It means this sounds like the cop is rationalizing for his own actions.
“The officers had reason to believe Jackson owned/possessed a firearm with a suppressor.”
Maybe if somebody has such bad PTSD that they think acorns are gunshots and empty their firearm at the sound of an acorn, they shouldn’t be allowed access to firearms?
Sorry Jesse. That story didn’t sell on tape, and it ain’t going to get any extra credit here.
