Funny I was joking earlier this year about the next 4-letter word racing game was going to be called FAST... then someone actually did it.

Money is scarce so I'll only get Ys: The Oath in Felghana and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, and the later one I'm still not sure if I will be able to afford it yet.

A 4-year development cycle is what EVERY annual sports game need.

@her0_0f_time: Get Ys Seven, it's a recently released ARPG with addictive combat and a great soundtrack. (but that's par with Falcom's games) It hasn't led my UMD drive since it came out in August!

@excaliburps: In the end, it's all opinion, a game that can appear to be abysmal to some can be great to others, everybody thought Bionic Commando 2009 was badly designed, to me it was one of the best games of last year.

@excaliburps: Not to be the bringer of bad news but a friend of mine who works in the industry told me very worrying things about the game. (Hope I don't put his job at risk.)

The demo was fun but I'll never forgive them for not using the DS version's soundtrack on Space Invaders Extreme for XBLA. :/

@fumunda: Speaking of GOG (which I'm new to as of yesterday :P) Has it given any indication of ever bringing the old Need For Speed Titles (Pre-Underground)? Most of them just don't start or you have to make a pact with the devil to make them run.

Hype levels for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow are rising, I've found myself playing a lot of Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness. Such an underappreciated gem. Hopefully LoS tops it.

And having the Spanish claw guy renamed Vega makes more sense than his original name (Balrog) since Vega is a Spanish surname and all.
