@CeramicQuote: I just remembered one of his other famous quotes: "Dead to Rights: Retribution is Gears of War done right". I'm seriously not making this up!

@Veloc: I know, right? I'm no FPS fan myself, (my favorites are still the Quake and Unreal series, I'm old-school to the core) but at least I try them if they look interesting, looking forward to this, Crysis 2 and Bulletstorm.
That's... gonna be bad news for a friend if it happens. He only plays Bioshock 2 multiplayer and claims that the use of plasmids is the perfect evolution of the FPS genre. He rarely plays anything else now.
@Rachel Fogg: I feel totally the opposite about the God of War series. To me they feel like I'm just hitting with foam sticks attached to chains, even the sounds of the hits are tame.
@hazelnut1112: Fighting with the whip was incredibly satisfying! you really the impact or "cracking" when hitting enemies. That and the music were enough to carry me through the end... 5 times!
@allstaraugustine: I was agreeing with you in that it looks to play more like DMC than GoW.
@Kindarian: Maybe, you know, those probably aren't the same people who bashed it from the beginning?
@allstaraugustine: God listen to you, I haven't played a western-developed action game that had a fighting system as good as their japanese counterparts. DMC, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden are still the undisputable kings of the genre.
Any news of a rewind feature like in Forza 3? That feature took out most of the frustration that comes with simulation-style racing games.
@dmc666: Blazblue Continuum Shift, definetly.
@Unee720: Even though they're officially in the timeline they are more like side-stories not directly related to the baby metroid incident.
@BigGreenMonster: The Prime Trilogy occurs between Metroid 1 and II.
From what I've heard, Samus isn't voiced by Jennifer Hale. How did that happen?
@Archaotic: Yeah, perhaps if they made it on the Wii then (nah). But it's not like I'm asking for a 2D-vania, I'm perfectly fine with the ones we got on GBA/DS and possibly next on 3Ds.
@Archaotic: That didn't stop Nintendo from making Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn and New Super Mario Bros Wii, those are disc-based titles even.
@Archaotic: Lords of Shadow doesn't look like Castlevania at all either.
@Archaotic: Did you play the same Cv HD that I play? It had fantastic fresh ideas, whether they came from IGA or not.
@TheTrooper: You have a looot of catching up to do: Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank Future (all of them), Final Fantasy XIII, Yakuza 3, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, on PSN: Wipeout HD/Fury, Super Stardust HD, Soldner-X 1&2.
@krynn: It has as much anime as an old-school Zelda game. (That means near zero) Only still portraits for the important characters.
@Kage56: You can change the button configuration, I use Square for attacking and X for jump/dashing.
