@FoBScHooLBoY: If you really have even a passing interest in the game you shouldn't let reviews decide that for you, try the game first, if you don't have the means to do so, then at least watch live gameplay sessions on blip.tv or something.

Japanese voice acting aside, I always found their grunts and yells amusing and creative, especially in fighting games they have a big repertorie of "Doryaaa!"s & "ora ora ora!"s compared to the western's "haa!".

@theBMB: I don't see what's so strange about it? he yells the same thing (what am I fighting for!?) in the japanese version if I recall correctly.

@P-Z3r0: Nope, the Japanese version doesn't have English subs but the Asian version does.

@Cheesus Crust: I was actually serious. Totally forgot about that game, I can't believe how obvious it was.

All this PSP bashing is weird, PSP is doing just fine, with the upcoming Ys Seven, (and Felghana and Chronicles), Valkyria Chronicles 2, Phantasy Star Portable 2, Black Panther: Yakuza New Chapter, It has a lot to look forward to.

@Lerigan: Perhaps it means it's a different take on the Metroid franchise? (Other Metroid)

@Aubron: I want to watch Scott Pilgrim so bad. Mexico will have to wait until october.

@bloodzombie77: That's bad news to a friend who hates every FPS online except for Bioshock 2, he swears it is the only good online shooter out there and that he'll never stop playing it.

I curse the guy who coined the term "doe-eyed", now every character I see ends up looking very disturbing.

@Slanzinger: Subtitles deserve its own discussion. To keep it short I'll just say that games that are multilanguage should be like DVDs and Blu-rays in that they let you choose any combination of spoken language and subtitles.

Do people really never go into the options screens first for their recently purchased games?

Hopefully this guy looks tough enough for the game to sell. Has serious face and sword and everything.

@phinn: I'm a fan of the Yakuza series but I couldn't care less about the authenticity. I'm in it for the beat-em-up gameplay and the brutal "heat" moves.

Ace Combat 4, 5 and Zero collection next, please!

@Loken: Not about to see your light.: Of course, and on PC, but IGA said it all depends on how well does the XBLA version does. I remember reading somewhere that the dev team practically had next to no budget and had to self-fund the project.

@Jelas: I don't think the Wii has enough RAM to handle it, the castle is loaded entirely into memory, its enemies are always loaded also, and the game is following up to 6 characters who can take very separate ways and overall there is quite a LOT of stuff going on under the hood.

@Ramza69: Better yet, I'll say a prayer for him so that he enjoys the game a lot like I am. :)

I planned on finally playing through the Starcraft 2 Campaign, but Castlevania HD has it's demonic grasp on me, and I can't seem to get away from it in the foreseeable future. I want to grind all the characters, Charlotte for example starts off too weak, but after capturing and leveling up her spells she's almost
