Final Fantasy XIII. I tend to like average games with good soundtracks a lot more than great games with OK soundtracks. Other games I love a lot just for their soundtracks are Mirror's Edge, Bionic Commando (2009), Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
@sackboy14: The preciousssss, it's oursssss!
OK, I don't know anything about comics so forgive me if what I say is considered blasphemy: Lose the tiara and then you'll win me over.
@BrainBubble: Like you said, the first hours of the game (taking care of the kids) start really slow. All that time I was like: "When will I start kicking ass?"
@Foxhack: He's been Y2, Y3 and most likely he's in Y4 too.
@Batman: Chalk it up to the "weird" Japanese philosophy of game design. But I think I get his point: Do a shooter that makes you shoot with the left stick, walk with the triggers, go totally crazy, and then they'll be forced to make a game that works and plays good around that controls, eschewing a lot of standard…
@midgarddragon001:I guess I was bad at explaining. What I would like Windows to have is something more like the PS3 does with their dynamic themes thing.
Amazing how a portable device has this and Windows 7 still uses still images for wallpaper.
@DraGooN001: Actually the SNES trilogy had co-op (select the "Two Player Team" option).
@LordDisco: Yeah, save-anywhere is one of those PC-game conventions they forced upon us. I won't say anything more because it seems having this opinion is asking for personal attacks and the like.
I've never been a fan of football/soccer, but I always played sports games since the NES era, starting with Goal!, Nintendo World Cup, International Superstar Soccer Deluxe on SNES, and ISS64.
@Heturi: With the promise of many Dreamcast games coming out on both XBLA and PSN from now on, hopefully this one will get a "re-release" of sorts, so it can finally find its way to PSN.
@Heturi: I guess you don't have an Xbox 360?
@fratto: Good for you, we'll just wait a few more weeks after GT5 to enjoy our arcade crap. :P
@WillOne is putting Pots in the Dishlex: I got a friend who stopped playing racing games altogether when they stopped supporting D-Pad steering and Accelerate/Brake with the face buttons. He felt that they lacked the precision of digital controls.
@rolloutroad: People shouldn't be playing for 6, 7 hours on end in the first place. If they have that much free time they should consider spending it on more fulfilling/healthy activities.
@kira_leingod: And people still complain it's not being translated? Unbelievable. I don't really think Giant Enemy Crab counts as knowing japanese history.
Weeeeird. I thought people would be interested in Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project instead of Risk. At least I am, since I remember having fun times with this game back in 2002... or was it 2004?
I'll just leave this here...
