@Darkest Daze: Indeed it was. Even if they called it a Devil May Cry clone, the combat had its own identity and flow, it was really good, it almost made me not skip unnecessary battles.

The Article says it plays like Devil May Cry OR God of War, but to me those games are as different as the sun and the moon. So does it feel more like DMC than GOW?

Game is looking really good but judging by the videos I really hope the combat doesn't feel like God of War. There is just no "punch" in those games, you don't really feel like you're hitting anything in them.

For the curious about other countries, namely, Mexico. I went to the only store in my city that lets you trade consoles for credit: Blockbuster. This is how it went:

@PlaidNinja: That was just because the original God of War wasn't supposed to have a sequel.

I played the japanese demo of Yakuza 4 before my american copy of Yakuza 3 arrived, the demo had a scene where it was raining, and the city looked cool like that. (I love rain in games and real life, I played Heavy Rain just for that reason)

@Black_STAR: Believe me, it will matter. Especially knowing how Gran Turismo is, that going 100mph in game is like going at 20mph in real life...

Now playing

Namco: How about making that vision you had of Ridge Racer for 2010 a reality? Those online features looked promising.

OK, time to grab my walking stick, sit on my rocking chair and rant about the old times while I hit you with the stick:

"And while Grin dropped on the ball on the multi-platform 3D update Bionic Commando..."

@Sloopydrew: Bashing WW was more common before the game came out.

Skyward Sword: Does this confirms that we will be able to fly using the sword here?

@HotChops: I have no problem with them using polygons, but the style is not really consistent with Rare's old DKC games, it lacks soul.

@Grinman: As much as I would really love Konami for that, to the point I would pay like $100 for that game on a disc. (A game of that magnitude deserves to be on a disc) That would take too much time, effort and money, unless they took a different approach and do it hand drawn(Muramasa)/vector(Castle

@Ashurahori: Big-screened, It'll look too tiny. It's like with KOFXII: The sprites were so small for an HD game (My guess is that they were made for a 480p game at first), that they looked tiny, so they decided to do a big zoom on them but the end result is they look too blocky. They actually zoomed them back a bit

@Archaotic: Agreed, this simple concept could have been done much better. If they were going to recycle they should've gone all the way and recycle all the castles from SoTN to Ecclesia and jumbled them toghether into one massive castle.

@Ashurahori: But they're so zoomed out to the point that each pixel on the DS equals to a pixel on a 720p display, so technically, it's HD. LOL

@gamegrump: It was actually the other way around. Criterion asked EA to let them make a NFS game and let them take the game in the direction they wanted.

Soooo, will they update the console's boot sequence with the swirly green waves like they showed up at the beginning of the press conference? That looked quite cool.
