I want that FPS subgenre back. No melee, otherworldly maps (Quake 3) balanced weapons whose bullets you can see and your character is fast enough to sidestep them, more emphasis on speed.

@Illuminerdi: I respectfully have to disagree. I'm really excited to know more about our favorite bounty hunter and the universe that surrounds her in Metroid: Other M.
I guess few people don't know this but if you get an achievement/trophy, then that particular A/T will be forever read at the language you had your dashboard/XMB set at that time.
@TheSolarKnight: Oh I meant in the Classic Controller itself. You're not going to play it holding 2 controllers in your hands are you?
@Komrade Kayce: Different strokes for different folks, I guess. (is that how it is said?) I loved the 2008 game as much as I loved the sands trilogy and the Snes remake of the very first PoP.
So any people out there like me who really loved/loves Final Fantasy XIII but doesn't consider him/herself a series fan?
@KaMai: Remember that there are some game elements that require you to shake or rotate the controller, and since the classic controller doesn't have any of that functionality there is no way you could do those moves.
@Komrade Kayce: Poor Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption, they never stood a chance.
@D-K: Me and my friends on our Tatsunoko VS Capcom get-toghethers never use handicaps, I guess our huge egos just don't let us allow ourselves some kind of advantage over the other, and we're actually of varying skill levels ranging from "totally-hopeless-even-a-bonus-stage-could-beat-you" to "You #$%&@ cheap bastard!"
@hagren: When they worked, they were mind-blowing. I have fond memories of Quake 3 Arena and Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit, but they needed a specific set of drivers for the video card (The Nvidia TNT2) and you HAD to use Windows '98 (or was it M.E.?) so XP was a no-no. The magic lasted me a few months, I could never…
@Back In Time: Actually that standing 360 is of a friend of mine, he brought it for Halo 3 LAN parties, it connects to my PC monitor. (not pictured)
After more than a decade and half and some hours with After Burner Climax I've come to a realization: I suck at 3D games, more specifically: 3D Shoot-em-up games.
@peteer02: hates geofencing: Believe ir or not, I still have friends who think it's just a cash in of an already mediocre game. (He's a Guilty Gear Snob, nothing against GG, tho.)
@Renne: That player is a god amongst men! I wish I could become that good. I can't even finish the game, much less doing insane combos like that.
@Orionz Dream: I see myself playing this for years too! Trying to get an A-Ending without cheating, (EX-Options) takes much, much longer than 10 minutes.
I'm really going OCD over the Blue "NEW" button, I want it to disappear. It's been driving me crazy since the beta.
@yanipheonu: Did we ever find out if that was made on purpose or just a (very unlikely) coincidence?
There is something about these new Mario games that I just can't get into them. The last Mario game I had true fun with was Super Mario 64. Sunshine didn't do it for me, and Galaxy even less so. Perhaps it's a sign of me becoming jaded. :(
@Curiously Flamboyant Sheep: Believe me, there is a LOT more people who can't tell between 30 and 60 fps than people who can, to me being a "framerate whore" is actually a curse especially in PC games since you can't lock the framerate to 30 if your game can't always keep up with 60. I'm looking at you, Just Cause 2.
