@Phazonmasher: You're not alone, man, me and a friend who lives nearby both loved the game to death. It HAS that Capcom of the 80's feel we old geezers love, more than the other games that came alongside it.

@timzster: 90's Capcom knew how to make super hero music. This totally screams "Spider-Man" every time I hear it, alongside all the other themes from Marvel Super Heroes, Captain America's theme was heart-pumping too.

I liked how in previous VS games the Marvel side characters spoke in english and the Capcom side spoke in japanese. Hopefully they keep this feature at least as an option, because the trailer gave away that Capcom characters will speak english too. (The shinkuu hadoken Ryu does sounds exactly like his english SF4

@pmckai: I have Yakuza 3 and I love it, but I totally see where you're coming from: there are just too many text-only conversations in that game and it would be better if they were all voiced and fully animated.

That's exactly the 2 Xbox 360 games I currently have! (Not counting the dozens of XBLA games)

@pmckai: Are you serious? last time I remember the previous generation wasn't the 16-bit era.

@MattyMattMatt: I'm pretty sure he meant that wall jump was a first for the Mario franchise.

@plaztiksyke: I don't think that would be possible on consoles without downgrading the detail or framerate, You can play at 1080p on the PC version of Rearmed, though, with zero slowdowns and zero tearing if you have decent hardware.

@Edmund Chamberlain: They don't, they're totally different games. BCR is stage-based, not a metroid-style game.

@bernardmatthews: The Marvel VS games are often regarded as the embodiment of button mashing (on lower level play), I was once beaten by a kid in the arcades who waggled the joysick and pushed all buttons furiously during the whole match. He didn't even chose Auto mode.

@uglyteradon: Think of it more as a reboot, I was totally expecting 24-something characters, but 30 is pretty damn good for a game that is basically being made from the ground-up.

@Arnheim: OK I'm just not trying to go against the current to sound cool but I genuinely loved the game from the start. One of the things that makes me play a game even if the gameplay is not that great is music. I'm not saying the gameplay in FFXIII is bad, I remember playing Castlevania: Curse of Darkness a lot just

@ttocs: It is my favorite Wii game by far. (Runner up is Tatsunoko VS Capcom) I leveled both characters to 99 and got all the endings. That meant a lot of combat but I still don't get bored of it. It's fluidity of combat reminds me of the modern Ninja Gaiden games.

@Crimsondramon: And I bet 99% that they're going to screw us again with the generic stage themes from SF4 and we'll only listen to the awesome remixes in Rival Battles.

@skt.smth: Hasn't it always been like that? I got this impression (from Id Software and Epic Games) that a new FPS should bring a technological leap over its predecessor.

@Mokon: I remember the days when some games only let you play until a certain level then basically told you to man up and try a harder difficulty or else you won't see the rest of the game.

@Boomaga: That's why I totally understand movies and TV not portraying gaming as it really is. No one wants to stare blankly at the screen watching an actor staring blankly at a screen while gaming.

@Renne: Will it even come out, though? There hasn't been any announcement yet, has it? (Crosses fingers)

@MilsurpShooter: Agreed. To me Rush 'n Attack/Green Beret is a classic. Check out its 1989 arcade spiritual sequel: M.I.A.: Missing in Action if you can.
