Tutorials are nothing but a blight on mankind. New or old. Making the first level(s) a tutorial is a waste that could be saved for a better, more challenging level. I don't like this trend of game developers thinking we're stupid.

EA is going to put them back to work on Medal of Honor games again, they can't escape their destiny mwahahahaha!

@D Mitsuki, Gotta have guts kid!: To me God Hand's controls felt like ripped straight of the PS1 Tomb Raider era.

@Shinta: I can add that the way the combat flows is unlike any other game ever released, and that includes genre greats like Devil May Cry, God of War and Bayonetta. (which is a close second)

My 360 hasn't received any love lately, last game I played on it was Bayonetta (Mass Effect 2 I played on PC so that doesn't count) so I'm anticipating this a lot.

@AchromaticMagus: I think you're gonna love FFXIII then, the characters are actually not as cardboard cut as they seem in the beginning, you really get to like them all less than halfway through.

Interesting read. I always view (play) my games as a passive 3rd person watcher, even when I play FPS, I just don't get the "immersion" thing. I prefer to keep my distinction between what's real and what is not perfectly defined.

Direct sequel!? Oh great, they just told me how the game ends and I'm just 10 hours in. :(
