this is kind of a bootlicker take. HBO Max didn’t have an easy start but eventually offered more quality content than nearly any other streaming platform. And that would have been without the HBO Max originals like the Flight Attendant which were better than they should have been...with Showtime’s mostly boring…

Not sure why you’re saying fans like it’s ironic. Yes, if the sequel to a series they’ve been waiting on for years comes out and is a fundamentally different type of game, many of them will be disappointed. That’s not new or hard to understand.

I think people are missing the point about the lawsuit. It’s not about people following the advice of a random celebrity they trusted. It’s about them finding out that the random celebrity was a paid shill for the product and not genuinely recommending the product.

I think it’s the concept of a Happy Meal designed for “adults” that comes in a form factor that instantly induces nostalgia. Hell, instead of a toy they could have included some special Post-It notes or hamburger cufflinks and I’d still be interested. Note to self- find hamburger cufflinks
