Before moving to Adobe Premiere, I used LW for several years. It’s OK, but the features leave a lot to be desired. The lack of multi-framerate support and limit of 720p output (both limitations of the free version) makes it clunkier to use.

Final Cut Pro has been the industry standard for decades. It’s only within the last two-three years that Adobe Premiere has become a viable paid alternative.
