If the master sword never breaks, why would you use anything else once you got it? That idea completely breaks the whole mechanical and thematic point of the system.
Modern day Dragon Quest games have had some of my favorite localizations, because a large amount of care goes into them. You get a feel for characters’ personalities based on how they speak, even if they’re not voice-acted. Also, the glorious, glorious puns.
When I first played through I didn’t count the syllables, but I did think they were speaking funny. This just makes me appreciate the game even more.
It was spoiled for me before I played it because it’s all anyone could talk about.
You seem angry. It’s the internet, so I’m not surprised. The fact that I beat the game and don’t remember those fights kind of proves my point about forgettable moments. They must have been some simple ass fights or I zoned out because I didn’t see it as an important moment. *Kanye Shrug*
