"Great news, girls I went to high school with who I no longer talk to!"
I'm so confused as to where her pants went!!
Are you sure you have all the nutrients you need? For example, not getting enough iron causes anemia, which makes you very tired all the time, mentally and physically. I was so tired all the time too, could never get up the energy to do anything, thought it was due to lack of sleep or maybe mono, and discovered that I…
I love those ones too! But I think that of the three, the first one is my favorite, and definitely in my personal top three. I don't know which one would be my all time favorite, though. Hmmm...perhaps I shall procrastinate in the same way sometime soon!
Hey, I was just about to post this blog! She's my friend in real life :)
I don't think Jezebel is supporting less choice, so much as acknowledging that there is a burden of responsibility that wasn't present before.
I've heard of this, and I'm not sure what to believe. On the one hand, the woman suing does have some similarities to Viola's character (Aibileene?). On the other hand, the author insists that she may have exchanged "hellos" with this woman once or twice but did not know her nearly well enough to be able to base a…
Hearted for the gif AND your name!
I agree! I was just in Paris, and they don't need the Starbucks or McDonalds, because they have their own, wonderfully delicious and Parisian chain: Paul! It is on every corner, things are made there fresh, and it is delicious and reasonably priced, especially by Paris prices. (It's even coming to the U.S. soon-…
I agree that her clothes should look more ragged, but in other than that Jennifer Lawrence looks so, so much more like Katniss than I thought she could. Which makes me really happy, because I absolutely love Lawrence and think she's the perfect actress for Katniss based on acting skills, but was worried about her…
They do have their own education track, though, and do go to graduate school. They're not qualified to do all the things that doctors do, but they are very qualified to do what they do. Plus, many people have experiences with doctors prescribing medicine for the pain but not treating the root cause, which is what…
Wow, I'm surprised how well HP can be rearranged to look like an awesome teen Rom-Com. All the characters look like typical, rowdy, hormonal (slightly arrogant) (more so than in the books/movies) teens in this!
Have you read the poem The Moose, by Elizabeth Bishop? It's one of my favorites. (Actually, another one of her poems was the inspiration for my screenname!)
After only recently getting myself out of a terribleterrible crush situation on someone who loved me only for being emotional support and co-dependent (he had a girlfriend, too), I would say don't go. He's going with the gf too, so it's not like he just wants to see if you and he still click before breaking up with…
I'm not a math genius either, but here's what I've been able to gather from some googling myself: [qntm.org]
You know, I don't really have a problem with this. It's only a second meeting/first date, he really is just "cancelling" and not "breaking up" with her, and if I got that text from someone, I'd be happy for him and happy to have that story to share. I think it's a hilarious situation that works out for everyone!
Aaaaah, I see. Thank you! I feel silly now :).
I thought that the text was canceling plans, as in friend plans, not canceling a relationship. If it's the former, the cross stitch is hilarious, but if you're right and it's the latter, this is just depressing... Since she said that it's to remind her of the sitcom that is her life, I'm leaning towards the former.
Wait, I don't understand why taxpayers would be on the hook for making *private* insurance companies cover birth control. Yes, we'd have to pay for BC covered by medicare and medicaid, but that would be cheaper than subsidizing babies. So why all the fuss about private insurance companies?
This book has been on my mind a lot recently, too. It was absolutely amazing, and Bachmann should definitely have to read it before signing any more pledges.
