Especially if you have leather seats. Getting into a vehicle so-equipped when the temperature is below freezing is akin to sitting on a narwhal carcass you just found half-buried in the Alaskan tundra.

Stupid Sexy Batman
They probably had...
Fuck everyone involved in this story. Fucking morons.
I think the development of both us better for us. Sweet tech is being developed and the demand for pure EVs is huge.
Chonk-E
Exactly, the 911/Cayenne isn’t a fair analogy. They didn’t call their SUV a 911. The closest we’ve had so far to this is Mitsubishi bringing back the (somewhat) venerated Eclipse name as a CUV, and people were pissed. About the Eclipse. This is worse.
That looks like a 2.7L EcoBoost. You can see the top of the 2.7EB-only (AFAIK) cartridge style oil filter cap between the two damper reservoirs.
Reminds me of using a Tesla for the first/last time in Forza. Without the engine and gear change sounds, I had a hard time guaging how fast I was going and kept overshooting turns by a mile. It was like a 2 ton 150mph golf cart.
Somehow I see this as different. It is still a fun low slung hatchback, but with fender flares and fat tires. More rally car than CUV. Perfect for terrible midwestern roads. Modern cars have way too little sidewall. I fantasize about some BFG off road tires on my AWD BMW wagon.
That's what all of this company's hardware does. They make nicer versions of old consoles.
The big ones have actually gone OHC - Cummins X15 is currently SOHC I think (the ISX15 used to be DOHC, but one cam was dedicated to the fuel system), Detroit DD15 is DOHC, Volvo D15 is SOHC, MAN D26 (which Navistar has made into the A26) is SOHC.
And now, a moment of silence for the XTS.
The 15L Cummins in big trucks is OHC.
I mean, the the OG ZR1 did exist well before this...
I don’t think anyone disputes the advantage in breathing at high revs for DOHC. It’s odd there are still those disputing the size, weight, and simplicity advantages of the OHV SBC.
I love that the underhood arrangement is in the shape of a V8. Classy!
Damnit. I want this. To me this thing is cooler then any 6+ figure car I’ve ever seen (in person or in print). I never felt bad that I couldn’t afford the latest Ferrari quatrofolienflameblowupanello or whatever but the want for this thing right here is emanating from deep within my loins.
No there isn’t a difference when people are driving correctly. The problem is people don’t practice keep right except to pass. Instead slow drivers are scattered across all lanes. Electronic countermeasures and detection aren’t needed when an interstate isn’t considered a government revenue source and where busy…
They most certainly have that right.
