I think a strict stance on either side can be argued to be wrong. There are some things that are so common that the preservationist mindset is silly. Likewise there are others that are so rare that it doesn’t matter what condition they’re in as long as they’re original. As with most things, the correct answer is

They are banned too. The 918 is super-banned being a convertible. If you go faster than X without Y safety equipment you’re banned, end of story. They just didn’t have their marketing department go and get it in writing.

Because a cage and street use aren’t really compatible. At best a good cage restricts your ability to get in and out.

Because nothing is allowed to compete while going that fast without a cage. Anything else that fast without a cage will also be banned, Dodge just made it official for marketing reasons.

You do know there’s a such thing as a touchless wash, right? Basically an automated version of a spray bay. No contact so no paint damage. Sure, it doesn’t do a perfect job, but it’s better than nothing by far.

The first series popped up on Amazon a while back and I watched an episode. It wasn’t great. I then smoked some weed (for science) and watched another episode. Still not so great. I think the movie might be tolerable.

Who wants to be hearing the equivalent of low-rate modem noises from your tires for minutes on end?

Something I’d love to do at some point is take a LLV and swap in some more interesting drivetrain. It is basically a rebodied S-10 after all, so a Syclone/Typhoon turbo V6 or a LS should be relatively easy.

That’s because of length restrictions. If you want to get the most cargo area out of a given length/wheelbase you to with a cabover. They used to be a big deal in the US too, but over the years restrictions were relaxed and harmonized while heavily trucked routes were expanded to the point that a 53' trailer can be

I’m with you. Give me a fast car and a sufficient stretch of empty desert road, I could be listening to Johnny Cash’s cover of Hurt and I’d still be going as fast as conditions allowed.

I don’t think this is likely at all, but just to throw it out there:

Also didn’t help that I was playing it on an older fatboy PS2 that couldn’t load environments fast enough and made eluding police nigh-impossible.

Can’t it be both? Can’t someone can have genuine concerns while still being thin-skinned about it?

Yeah, that’s why no one would ever turbocharge something that needs a reliable engine, like a semi truck, ambulance, train, or ship...

RWD however seems most likely mainly because FCA/DODGE has shown an incredibly unwillingness or inability to implement AWD in the Challenger, Charger, and 300 along with their V8s. Heck, the Challenger GT AWD was supposed to be some huge revelation. But that is just a V6.

When watching those sorts of old shows and movies its amazing how many episode plot points and sometimes even full season plot lines would make no sense in the hyper-connected world of today. Problems that depend on two people in a major metro area being unable to communicate with each other. Not knowing a piece of

The union represents a group. Sometimes what’s best for the group is worse for specific individuals. That’s the nature of groups.

Exactly. Every time there’s a new wave of crackdowns against the pay-to-win servers we see another set of articles like these, yet the majority of the community remains unaffected.

Don’t panic.
