As a FiST owner, yea, I’m tired of seeing all kinds of “EcoBeast” logo stuff being advertised around various ST and Ecoboost forums.

Ford did trademark the name “EcoBeast” back in 2014 and it was assumed for a while to be the name of the version for the GT and/or Raptor, but as of late last year it seems that name has been assigned to the high-power crate version of the 2.3L from the Mustang and FoRS.
This seems like a trivial problem to solve by weighting the algorithm.
I never thought about that, always just getting the chips and guac on the side to eat with my burrito. You may have just changed my life.
Many jurisdictions have a “Romeo and Juliet clause” in their statutory rape laws for exactly this kind of situation. These typically exempt relationships where both parties are underage or the age difference is insignificant (usually limited to a 2-4 year difference).
We know Evans is a big Ferrari nut though, so his “honest, unvarnished opinion” is likely to have a pro-Ferrari bias no matter what. Just like Jeremy always seemed to like the big AMGs, especially Black Editions, a lot more than everyone else in the industry. Just like Hammond having trouble keeping it in his pants…
The fact is that your acceptable graphics card alone costs the same as a complete XBox One with controller, blu-ray player and hard disk.
A decent gaming rig is well above $1000.
So.....that thing appears to use stock Miata suspension mount points.....
The purpose of the big number is to be punitive. There are few ways to punish a corporation, you can’t exactly put them in jail and straight up shutting them down is reserved for the most extreme cases because that of course affects employees who may be completely innocent.
If it was done legally, clean-room reimplementation style, they wouldn’t have a legal leg to stand on. See WINE for example.
GPS isn’t that accurate (at least at civilian levels) and I can’t imagine laser scanners are any less sensitive to weather than cameras.
They really don’t. They’re not for deep snow, they’re more for ice. They definitely wouldn’t act sort of like a paddle like a traditional chain could.
Midwesterner here. lol chain laws. All the short haul routes running Turnpike Triples between distribution centers would probably love these things.
I really don’t understand why people would defend M-B on this when they’ve been infringing on the patent for the entire length of its existence. Don’t want to get sued after using a patent without rights for 20 years? Get rights to the patent.
Yeah, I’m really torn on when they do this. On the one hand there have been a lot of easter eggs I definitely wouldn’t have come across otherwise that I’m glad I found out about thanks to the internet.
The average 600cc bike has more power than many experienced riders can use
I don’t think they care about spoiling the movie, I think it’s more about spoiling the fact that the game does this, which otherwise might have been a neat surprise if you happened to fall in the molten goo.
That probably means same MSRP but the actual retail prices will likely depend on volume of sales. I don’t know the overall sales numbers on PSS/PSC2s, I’m sure some of the manufacturer specials actually do add up to a reasonable proportion of total production for that model of tire.
On another note, I wish they’d get rid of the Stig. He was great for the old show, but they don’t need him, especially with Sabine and Harris in the cast, just like TGUS didn’t need a Stig with a race driver presenter.
