First I did say "If that second part is true" so I'm not standing behind the word of some random people on the internet. That said, following the linked article to its source (fuck I hate people who repost deep in to a blog chain instead of following it to the actual source) gets me to Corvette Forum. They don't

Hellcat makes more power and doesn't pull timing in these situations, plus the reports are that the knock sensor is not triggering nor are any other readings standing out as unusual at the time power is being reduced.

I mean it's an easy target being a Kia and all, but they are really nice cars as far as the things normal people care about. One of my housemates has had a 2012 and 2015 model SX Turbo, loaded other than Nav (because who the hell pays extra for a shitty version of what our smartphones do?) and that thing is hard to

10 cents a mile? Where are you getting this number from?

It's not like the F50 had much of an interior to mess up.

This is pretty shitty of them to do, but I can't find myself caring nearly as much as if it were almost any other automaker. Ferrari's shittiness to their customers is legendary. I mean both the Ford GT40 program and Lamborghini's entire automaking effort were spawned partially from Enzo being an asshole.

I wasn't trying to judge you or diss you about the RAM usage. I was basing my assumptions off of your initial statement, in which you only mentioned a browser, not the other programs running in the background (I was actually going to ask you about background programs). So, sorry if I offended you in any way.

7.5 GB of memory used in idle with just a browser? [...] You might be infected with a resource-leeching virus.

Agreed entirely on the hooning, however unfortunately it is not possible to hoon all the time. Occasionally a wild patrol car appears, and suddenly it becomes a great time to take a break and have a sip of water in a completely safe and controlled manner.

(I'm with the few that HATE cup holders in Sports-oriented vehicles)

Phenom X6 1045T + EVGA 970SC + 32 GB of RAM here. Averaging ~33 FPS on Ultra High after switching from MSAA4x to FXAA. ~30 before that. Minimum continuous in a dense crowd is ~27, with rare stutters below that when crossing large amounts of the world presumably while it loads.

Just curious, if you have a decent gaming PC (assuming this because you put a 970 in it, presumably it's not total crap) why would you buy a cross platform game for a console when there's a PC version? While some games have pretty bad ports, they're generally bad by PC gamer standards and still usually at least match

Or...

Driver update trip report: No notable change. May have been a bit faster, I saw 40s a few times, but still seemed to average mid 30s.

I'm averaging 35 FPS and rarely dipping below 30 on my PC playing it at 1080p Ultra High with FXAA. GTX970 + Phenom II X6 1045T, both stock clocks (GPU is EVGA "Superclocked" so it has a mild bump over a reference 970).

Someone for whom drag racing is literally 100% of their legitimate (legal track) racing experience here.

It's really easy to spoof things on the telephone network. It's kind of like email pre-SPF and the like, anyone can claim to be anyone. It's a a system designed with the naive assumption that those they're communicating with could be trusted. There are plenty of ways ordinary people can legitimately get sufficient

The van version is dead, but the chassis cab and cutaway models will remain "until near the end of the decade."

I think calling Tiff Needell an "F1 Reject" is selling the guy way short.

and then shoed with Ferrari wheels? That's just an insult to Ford's 1966 Racing division.
