Whoosh.

It's hard to stop when they're so damn profitable. Tokyo Drift was the worst performer and it still made plenty of money. See also: Jackass

/me goes to see how close they're coming to Cleveland...

What's up with the pricing for the 2015 US tour? I don't remember exactly what I paid for VIP tickets to the Cleveland show last year, but it sure wasn't anywhere close to the $300/ticket they're asking for the same in Pittsburgh this time around. Is there that much difference between the venues?

Yeah, but it sure as hell is fun to dream about, sort of like what you'd do with lottery winnings. Hell, in my case it's sort of one and the same, if I won the lottery and suddenly had no real responsibilities and a pile of cash on hand I'd probably end up trying it.

The solution is obvious though...

The Ferrari Challenge EVO is not a F1 car, it's a racing version of the 458 built for a Ferrari-operated one make series. Apparently similar to the GT3 version, but not detuned to meet regs. Supposedly 0.2 seconds behind the FXX around Fiorano.

I read it as an informed car guy who's read/watched reviews of many other cars I'll probably never own and only drive by renting one. The comparison to the 12C grounds it to a vehicle most of us have probably consumed plenty of information about. Most of us still haven't driven that, but it was likely compared to

I've wanted to see one done with a VQ-series engine from a Nissan 350/370Z for a while. You can trace a sort of "six degrees of engines" path to it from the (in)famous PRV through the various Renaults that shared the VQ35DE with the 350Z, so I see it as a fitting modern swap.

Fire up your favorite car manufacturer's "Build & Price" tool. Go to the last page of options. There's a good chance that this will be a "Dealer Installed" section where even if you are buying a car custom ordered with factory pickup the parts in that section will need to be installed by the dealer you bought it

especially on an older engine like the 12 valve Cummins shown here.

The only legitimate complaint I see against the game here is that Microsoft's download servers are terrible. I have 100mbit internet service and can easily max it day in and day out from Steam, Usenet, or pretty much any major commercial CDN. Xbox Live download? Maybe 5mbit/sec if I'm lucky.

Rebadging in the case of a swap is a case-by-case thing IMO and depends on how close it gets to what makes the real ones special. Cobra badging on a "New Edge" style Mustang? Better have a force-fed V8 in the front and IRS in the back.

They really need to figure out how to turn it up just a few more horsepower. They already out-torque the Hellcat Sedan, why not outpower it too and make the most powerful sedan in the world?

Standard Gawker rule applies, if the title is a question the answer is no.

As far as I know the plate goes with the car by default but if you have a desirable plate number they can be sold. The only rule I can find is that the number must indicate the same year or older.

While it's legal to record video of anyone in all 50 states, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington State require both parties to give consent for audio recording.

I've never had a controller go anywhere close to this bad, but I'm wondering if the same technique would work on an old LaserJet 4. Those things yellowed like hell over the years.

It was a 997 GT3 and I wouldn't place any blame on the car given he was drunk and massively speeding.

Real world version of that: Person draws a dick in the field.
