It really does look like an honest attempt to take the good looks of an S-15 Silvia or an R32 and make them fit a bit more with the styling of the time. But still hard pass.
Dumb question- how much weight does that rear wing have to handle? I see a lot of downforce numbers for cars, but I honestly want to know if hypothetically, I am a Crown Prince of [insert Middle Eastern Oil Producer here] and I buy one of these things, can I sit on the wing and have it take me for a game of Hoppe…
Given that partial seatbelt failure was part of Paul Walker’s death this feels.....awkward.
Since this is Jalopnik the question must be asked: ...but will it LS?
Much respect for the casual and shameless use of an RB-12 in the background. Kind of sad to not see this sandwiched between an RB-12 and a Vulcan, as those two cars fucking is pretty much the first thing I thought when I saw the photos.
I’d have liked to see Romain Grosjean....
Good to see Max “taking on the matte.” 2017 driver lineup changes are going to be absolutely bonkers.
And conveniently we all know Bodø has got a good long runway.... http://foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com/that-time-an-s…
A vodka diet coke is a “skinny bitch” if memory serves. Minus my distaste for the word “bitch” and general assessment of physical appearance.... it kinda works here.
But does it VTEC?
Alonso did it better.
The chrome accents on either side of the roof look like something Ford would slap on to make a car look “edgy.” I thought Aston Martin was past those days.

In a post-918, P1, and LaFerrari world where the Regera is a thing this just feels like a gold sledgehammer with a rosewood handle wrapped in Italian leather. Like, okay. Cool. Not really.
Regret does it in zero gears.
A Morgan Three Wheeler is one of the least practical, most fun car a person can have so adding torque makes perfect sense to me. I can’t imagine anyone having range anxiety. I’ll be sad to see that beautiful exhaust system go, though.
I think “really? this guy?” is the standard 2008-on Alonso expression.
