Sounds good! Then somebody can post about it on IO9!

The Bible also describes a priest's robes adorned with bells and pomegranates alternating around the hem.

"douchewaffle"? Was that supposed to be an insult? If it was, then you're a complete cakesniffer. ;-)

Personally, I am interested in the dual-use unit that can function as a lawnmower or an indoor vacuum. Just be sure to set the mode switch properly...

Simple - don't put flesh beneath the narrowest part. Load-bearing metal inside, synthetic nub to actually walk on. Wrap skin around it for cosmetics. Doable, but disgusting.

My girlfriend loves shoes, often with high heels. Long before I met her, she had basically ruined her feet from years of fashionable footwear.

The actual bottom surface need not be covered in flesh. The load-bearing part needs to be very strong and not too heavy, perhaps titanium, with some inorganic tip. Perhaps wrap the spike in biocompatible material to encourage a cosmetic skin growth.

I'm not fond of Guy as a Lantern, but must admit that the photo is spot-on!

I hope she didn't!

Interesting theory, but I doubt it. The movie costumes are ring-generated to match the wearer's physiology. They differ not only in shape, but in the stripes that presumably correspond to the alien musculature underneath. They could have mixed them if they wanted to.

I have several of the LeBistro pet feeders. One for my three indoor cats; one for the neighborhood strays who come to my front door; and one for the stray cats who come to my front door. I also have bulk watering systems.

How about mom is taken hostage by terrorists? Or maybe thawed-out Nazi zombies. Whatever.

I believe that some of the medical sensors used by McCoy in the original Star Trek series were made from salt shakers.

You do seem to be familiar with the dangers. So I am surprised that you suggested it. Would you trust the judgement of the average Gizmodo readers to get everything right?

Actually, it is easier to get it from your local Catholic church. There is usually a big container just inside the entrance, with a spigot on it, like a water cooler. Bring your own bottle to fill, but don't be too greedy.

Blanks aren't necessarily safe in a real gun. People have been killed with them.

Monica: What's your name?

The one-hand argument isn't particularly persuasive because the rumors of iPhone with larger screen also stated that the case would not get larger. I.e. the screen would use up a greater portion of the face and margins would be thin.

Actually, we are geeks. We have never seen a female and wouldn't know what to do with one. ;-)
