@Shamoononon: It's the antiinflammatory properties. A lot of cancers produce COX-2, abusing the body's injury-repair system in order to promote their own growth.

@jedi4life: Do you have to see conspiracies everywhere? Inflammation is well-known to play a role in the development of cancer.

@blyan-reloaded: In other news, Apple reports unexpectedly low sales of their waterproof iPad storage case, iDouchebag. Steve Jobs is reported as saying, "It's French. It means 'shower'. Get over it."

@Joe Legeckis: Exactly! All he did was expose the battery and time setting dial. The real works are still in a box.

@geolemon: Yes, it's for real. Giz had a thread on it a couple of weeks ago. Similar guns have been around for a while, but were based on firearms. The new thing here is that it uses compressed air.

@buckleyneko: I think that disclosing the serious material fact that the flooded basement is a magnet for half-naked chicks would only increase the sales appeal.

@Almightywhacko: That's good service for a defective unit. But this is a lost phone situation. Unless you buy insurance for that, I doubt that any carrier will replace it.

@Settings: Perhaps the UK has Drunken Father Christmas?

@webguy16: I find a small amount of humor in describing completely outrageous fictional movies and TV shows as documentaries. You know, like Men In Black blew the cover off the whole government-suppressed alien conspiracy.

@Ryan: I like the theory of image tanks because they are small and well-tuned for their purpose. No fiddling around with booting. Easily fit into the smallest hotel room safe.

@MaxPoint: It looks like you are skipping a generation. I do that myself because I seldom see enough delta in a single year to justify upgrading. I went from original iPhone to 3GS. I am tempted by 4, but will wait for the next one.

@Ryan: Whenever I take a trip, I drain and clear memory cards nightly - and always carry a spare during the day. If something terrible happens to my camera, I don't want to lose more than the day's photos.

@lavardera: It's a hard job, but I'll do it for the good of the franchise. I hereby volunteer to shave and paint the females. Further, I promise not to skimp on the job by using brushes, rollers, or sprays. I'm an old-school guy and promise to only apply the paint by hand.

@MinervaAlpaca: I agree that involving Hedy is a great idea. It does, indeed, scream WH13.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.4: If the wrist bands don't help, consider: ginger or Bonine. My brother gets good results from (prescription) scopolamine patches.

Perhaps they should model it after the drink services.

Don't forget the Farnsworth, as prominently used in the documentary series Warehouse 13.

@blatanville: I'm new to WH13, but I get the impression that the Farnsworths were built by Philo Taylor Farnsworth, a farm boy who invented all-electronic raster-scan television. I haven't seen any evidence yet of spread-spectrum or frequency-hopping in the show. But the Farnsworths seem to operate at long distances
