@Meredith Woerner: I understand that you were trying to make that distinction. But since you got several complaints, your phrase just isn't working.

@Kenro199x: I agree that satisfying prequels are hard to pull off, but it is possible to tell a good story where your audience already knows the ending. The movie "Titanic" was a big hit, even though we all know that the ship is going to sink.

@2010-Camaro: I might be easily impressed by because I skipped at least two generations of sets. I didn't do the big screen or high-def. Instead, I skipped from an old 27-inch Sony Triniton to a 50-inch plasma.

@noodle: I think he was wearing Panasonic glasses. I tried them in Best Buy and they were uncomfortable.

@Kenny Powers: Perhaps not this exact product, but something like it.

@2010-Camaro: AGreed! I have a Samsung PN50C8000 and love it. Why no love for the Samsung plasmas?

I love that 3D without glasses is advancing, but I hate the look of the 20-inch model.

@hewhoroams: "despite paying 59.99 for it like 19 years ago"

@ColMusstard: Yes, it is. Apple has a new "digital proxy" standard. For every app that you buy, they club a baby seal. And there are only so many adorable little baby seals to go around...

@TDizzleFoRizzle: I could indeed chose a private screening, and would do so in this situation. I would also start by saying, "There is something under my pants, and it's a diaper, not a bomb. I'll move very slowly while you verify."

@alienshards: "Yes, I'm sympathetic to the scammer here, because HE is the victim this time, and Mike Berry is the perpetrator."

@Curves: It's from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, of course. But I left off the line that follows this clever argument...

@MaNiFeX: I'm with you - I like the option of rent/cheap or buy/pricier.

@MazdaMania: "The Greeks didn't send 1000 ships to Troy. They probably didn't even send 200."

@Curves: You're in trouble, girl!

@Timmy: Cleveland FTW!

@alienshards: On the contrary, your original posting drips with sympathy for the scammer.

@alienshards: I have no sympathy for a thief. Worse, some people have been suckered into traveling to Nigeria only to face kidnapping and in a few cases murder.
