Expensive coal emission scrubbers can remove most of the toxic gases that come from coal plants. But they’re expensive and China doesn’t seem to use them...(I guess?)

LOL, no offense to their citizens but the Chinese government’s commitment to COP21 is laughable at best. They under-estimated their CO2 emissions by 17% for the last year (an amount of CO2 equal to the annual emissions of Germany) and there are currently over 1100 coal plants PLANNED for construction within China…
$150k? More like $175k...though I agree they’re not competitors.
570S is $180k. Acura hasn’t announced pricing yet but most people are predicting $175k.
Are you talking about a 911 Turbo, with 560 hp. Or you talking about the 911 Carrera 2 which now has 420 hp and two turbos?
How is it lost on you that the similarly priced, more exotic McLaren 570, weighs 600 lbs less?
Yeah...it’s not the “creature comforts” that have weighed down this car. It’s the 3 huge electric motors and the battery pack, in case you were wondering.
I’m not saying there’s a conspiracy, but do you think for one moment that the UN isn’t salivating at the chance to globally govern sovereign nations WRT their CO2 emissions, and thus power generation?
Thanks for the article. Comparing AGW to something as horrific as WWI was pretty hilarious, as well as insulting to the tragedies (and veterans) of war.
The CLA (and GLA) are marketed at people that don’t have a clue about anything automotive. And I don’t feel the least bit sorry for people that don’t research what is (for most people) the 2nd biggest purchase they’ll make in their lives (after houses). Crappy 2.0 liter I4 and FWD or (FWD based) AWD.
Start/Stop feature with a 6 cylinder engine can’t be compared to one on a 4 cylinder engine. The 4 cylinder will always be rougher.
I’m not sure. It looks cheap as hell to me.
I love how the wannabe doctor is also in charge of guarding the arsenal. Yeah, that’ll work well.
Why should they make any waves? The US does everything for them.
Thanks for the super informative article that goes into technical detail about what makes this car so special.
So you’re saying that NOBODY ELSE would have come up with a hybrid system if Honda hadn’t?
9/10 Explorers in NC have this crack.
Hahaha, I had a buddy with one of those Explorers. His rear panel cracked like that and he thought someone had hit his car while parked. I had to inform him that, no it’s just a shitty design flaw.
You don’t need them. At all. Ever.
No, they just screw into little drilled holes on the hub itself. They do nothing to extract a rotor. My Integra has 315k miles and I’ve never seen a rotor seized to the hub. But if one did, and you’re (most likely) replacing the rotor then all you need is a hammer, or rubber mallet.
