Thank you, you say one (or more) bad things about Pacific Rim and Ninjas are waiting outside your house the next morning.

I am not basing the quality on what the actor's should have done. If I was complaining about what the actor's should have done I would have said that Idris Elba should have said no to the script.

You can start with TWS and then "The End of the Beginning" AOS and be fine. The show isn't that hard to follow nor is it going to be hard to understand what is happening. I am betting it is all Hydra and "what do we do now?" until the end of the season (maybe even series if it isn't renewed).

And that is just horrible... I should never have to read a novel to find out reasons for actions in the movie. One reason I feel marvel does such a good job with their movies - nothing has to be read to understand what is happening. It helps but that is all.

Really? How so? Did his contract state that he should have creative control over his characters? I know everyone says that Marvel and Stan Lee screwed over all these artists/co-creators but not if it was because they didn't have a contract or Marvel didn't honor their contract, etc.

To slavishly follow the inspiration?

I want a movie where they train astronauts to drill instead of miners to be astronauts. Is there such a thing as a good Michael Bay movie?

The sword part sealed it as a bad movie for me... You have a weapon that can cut your opponent in half with one swing and you don't use that first thing? I know that the campy cartoons and live action tv shows this is paying homage to always wait until the last moment to use the big gun/sword. Just can't stand that

Ah, yes. I figured it was Lemmon's character but I didn't remember the exact scenes. It has been ages since i saw the movie. Thanks for clearing that up.

Ah, well if that is the case I apologize for my reaction. I've only seen Glengarry once and though I enjoyed it I can't say it really stuck with me. I just know there are a lot of ridiculous things that have been added to Star Wars via the Expanded Universe that I don't want to ever see on screen (green bunny people

Why? Do you think actors all LOVE their roles? It is a job, do you love everything you do in your job every moment of the day? Why should he have to love being Han Solo to every child, man-child, geek, etc that has ever seen those movies?

So true - it's just a job to most of them. They are happy when they do a good job in a product that is successful but to expect them to know little things about a movie or have an opinion about it is just silly. But then fans expect everyone to care about geekery as much as they do.

If that is an example of the Expanded Universe then I am glad it was removed. I prefer Greedo as a clumsy and inept bounty hunter instead of as a sympathetic character trying to pay for his daughters operation. Next you will tell me that IG-88 needed an expensive droid catalytic converter and went into debt with the

Yeah, I've said that too... My friends seem to think that being able to act in a movie means you don't have anxiety when being interviewed on tv or for a magazine. A lot of "drama geeks" go into acting because they are trying to work through anxiety issues or like to lose themselves in a role (not be themselves for a

It didn't really work for Harry Potter - the last book was bloated and could have done with a bit of good editing. The two movies suffer the same fate. I suppose it is the most successful version of that splitting but it wasn't necessary for telling the story on the movie screen.

My complete guess: Thea dies, Roy goes evil until half-way or two thirds through next season, Malcolm is back next season as the big baddy so I expect they team up for a bit to bring Ollie down before Roy realizes that he doesn't want what Malcolm wants (probably involving the killing or torture of Laurel or Moira).

I hope so, I really want this show to be interesting and it only is when it crosses over with TWS.

I had the EXACT same thought: "Do I have to have the KotCS?" I may not buy this set because of it.

It is a comic book movie based on a character who represents the idealism that only comic books can achieve and maintain without descending forever into saccharine sweet nonsense (sometimes). If you expect some kind of truthful representation of history in this movie, comic book, or the review of the movie or comic

Whatever gets you through the movie. If I disliked that trope as much as you do I wouldn't bother even trying to watch the movie. I guess I am in the minority that has no problem with nonsense science in my fiction. Otherwise I couldn't enjoy science fiction (faster than light travel, sound in space), fantasy (magic
